Ring in the New Year in spectacular style at Chaiwala with a mouthwatering New Year’s Eve menu (price from HKD680). Kicking off on a strong note, the restaurant’s spread will begin with a variety of savory shared dishes. Dishes boasting aromatic Indian spices include the Bhunma Roast Scallops and Hare Moon Pani Batasha served with a traditional jal jeera. Char-grilled Tandoori Beef Ribs prepared in a classic tandoori marinade will be the piece de resistance among a selection of mains. For a taste of Southern Indian flavours, the Lobster Nerulli will be the perfect dish for the special occasion. Accompanied by authentic Indian sides such as Dum Kersari Pulao and Black Currant Naan, the festive meal will end on a sweet note with Baked Jamun and Litchi Ki Tehri to appease your sweet tooth.

The menu’s selection of scrumptious mains will include The Butcher’s Cut and Tagliatelle with Black Truffle while fan-favourite desserts like the homemade Tiramisu will make an anticipated appearance.
The restaurant’s New Year’s Eve Menu (from HKD680) by Executive Chef Stefano Rossi will also be on offer to kick-start 2020 the right way.
An elegant New Year’s Eve dining experience at The Optimist will be an unforgettable end to a spectacular year. Treat your loved ones to a savoury festive feast with the New Year’s Eve Tasting Menu (from HKD680). Much-loved appetisers will range from dry-cured smoky Jamon Iberico to freshly-shucked Sorlut Oysters. An enticing dish, the restaurant’s Gambas Al Ajillo will feature king prawns marinated in garlic-infused olive oil. Taking an oriental twist to the season, the Christmas Tasting Menu (HKD480) will bring guests yuletide cheer through delightful Chinese fare. The feast will awaken your palate with a delightful series of appetisers including the Not a Peking Duck with homemade Pastrami, Hamachi Crudo and the invigorating Turbot.
